Easily entertained!

Collin is very easily entertained which I guess is a good thing. He loves for us to drop a ball on the carpet and watch it bounce. He just cracks up!

Collin's first Rendezvous ribs!

Garner, myself, Jenni, Harriette and Billy went to the Randezvous last friday night to celegrate Billy's birthday. Collin had his first taste of ribs and he loved it! We had to keep it coming as fast as possible so he wouldn't get upset! I think he's a human garbage disposal!

Collin is crawling!

Collin crawled this morning! I was so excited! I put him on one side of the carpet and I went to the other and held the phone up and pressed the buttons. (He loves playing with the phone) He only moved his hands and knees a couple of times, but hey, it counts! I then ran to get the video camera and got him to do it a little bit more so Garner could see. He will be racing across the floor before we know it!

Job

As most of you have already heard, my company, PTS, has been sold. There is uncertainty about our jobs. We met the new owner last Monday who reassured us that they would not be making any hasty decisions but that he could not guarantee that each of us will have an opportunity to stay on board. I am not that concerned though...it's in God's hands and frankly, I just don't think I'm going to loose my job. Keep us in your prayers though.

Update

Collin had his first hair cut a couple of days ago. His "bangs" were getting in his eyes, so I trimmed them. Yes, we saved his hair clippings! :) He's also getting over a virus. We are lucky this is the most sickly he has ever been. Right now he's whining at me because he see's I'm on the computer and he wants to play on it, so I'm going to go now.

School

I am finally done!!!!!!!!! I have a few loose ends to tie up but no more classes to attend. I graduate in May. What a relief!! :)

Kansas City Trip/ New Year's

So we made it back...barely. We arrived around 2:45 last Tuesday and Garner ended up in bed by 8:30 with the shivers and aches. So turns out he has the flu. Lots of fun. He's been in bed ever since, well, except for the car ride home and his trip to the Minor Med Saturday.
Collin did surprisingly well on the nine hour road trip. He was only fussy a few times, but nothing a clean diaper or bottle couldn't handle! As for New Year's Eve, we watched a movie and were asleep by 10. Yes, we are acting like old folks...but give us a break...nine-month old and the flu...what did you expect?!? I'll post some Christmas pics soon. Hope everyone had a Happy New Year!
